THE GORGE VIEW LODGE

Want to get back to nature, but prefer to do it within the comfort of four walls, a roof and a floor? For a real taste of pioneer luxury, the Gorge View Lodge has it all.

This cosy two-bedroom abode has all the home comforts required, including solar lighting, gas fridge, compost toilet (with a view to die for!), shower, combined lounge and kitchen preparation area, dining table, and a fireplace.

But the main attraction is the deck, where you can sit and soak up the sensational panoramic of the Clarence River and the beginning of the Gorge. Complete with timber bar leaner built from an old local bridge, stools and a ripper BBQ, it’s the perfect place to cook, eat, drink, relax, and watch the river flow by.

This is a great spot to go bushwalking or paddle upstream to explore the junction of the Clarence and Mann Rivers, fishing along the way in deep waterholes surrounded by amazing scenery.
