Wave Hill Station is a beautiful 5000 hectare working beef cattle property. At our farmstay you can experience the unique outback country life - a complete hideaway from the rest of the world yet only a leisurely 50 minutes drive from the Pacific Highway, Grafton and one and a half hours from the beautiful beaches of Northern NSW. For the keen fisherperson or horse-rider, special horse riding and fishing trips to the Clarence River Gorge can be organised. The NSW scenery is spectacular - mountains, pockets of rainforest, grazing land and woodland. From one vantage point in the "bullock paddock" we can see into Queensland. There are two 4WD tracks to access the Clarence River Gorge and our campsites. A one group at a time rule applies for the three campsites, so be sure to book this wonderful trip into NSW. Upon arrival at the river, guests can walk to view the falls or go horse riding to experience more of the rugged country and its unique wildlife. You are free to explore, swim in the rock pools and rapids, or "battle with a bass" as the bass fishing is excellent...or simply relax in the shade of a gum tree and enjoy your meal and the surroundings.
